Be Jojoba Oil Q&A:

1. I spent a lot of time under the sun and now my skin is very dry and coarse. How can Be Jojoba Oil improve the quality of my skin?

Be Jojoba Oil is ideal as an “After Sun Moisturiser” as it works immediately to replenish moisture, prevent further damage and minimise the pain caused by sunburn. Nevertheless, you should always use a good sunscreen prior to sun exposure to protect your skin.

2. Can Be Jojoba Oil help with my skin allergies?

Be Jojoba Oil is a 100% pure jojoba oil completely free from added anti-oxidants, preservatives and perfumes which may cause allergic reactions in some people. It is recommended to apply it morning and night onto dampened skin, wash off with an anti-allergenic soap, rinse off and reapply. This method combines cleansing, protection and moisturising routines likened to replenishing your skin’s natural moisture.

3. Can I use Be Jojoba Oil on my hair as moisturising treatment?

Of course you can. Apply a generous amount (depending on the length of your hair) to clean, wet hair. Massage the scalp gently and leave on for 10 minutes. Then, shampoo and wash your hair. Your hair will become soft, shiny, easy to manage and healthy.

4. Can Be Jojoba Oil prevent hair loss?

Be Jojoba Oil can be used as a scalp cleanser to alleviate encrusted scalp buildup caused by dead skin cells, dirt, sebum and hair products. Scalp buildup can lead to clogged hair follicles which can impede normal hair growth and cause hair fall and inflammation. Removing scalp buildup encourages optimal scalp and hair health.

5. How can I improve the dry and flaky skin on my face?

Dry and flaky skin is a result of insufficient moisture in the dermis (innermost layer of the skin). It is recommended to apply Be Jojoba Oil onto a damp skin every morning and night and use a gentle exfoliant once every week to remove the dead and dry skin cells. The molecular structure of Be Jojoba Oil which is compatible to the skin’s natural sebum makes it an ideal moisturiser of any part of the face and body. The vitamin E, D and A it contains also provide the skin with nourishment. Continuous use will result in better skin quality and an evident healthy sheen.

6. I suffer from red and dry skin after shaving. How can I tackle this problem?

Shaving can be harsh to the skin but unfortunately there is no real alternative for men apart from growing a beard. Be Jojoba Oil works perfectly as an aftershave as it is immediately absorbed upon application, providing deep hydration and leaving an invisible protective film on the skin’s surface. For best result, after completing a shave splash some water over face and neck before patting dry. Put a few drops of Be Jojoba Oil on hands and apply to the whole face. This will immediately relieve any dryness and razor rash, keeping your skin moisturised and soft all day long.

7. I have been applying Be Jojoba Oil to my cuticles and around my nails for the past few weeks and to my delight I found my nails becoming stronger and longer than I ever thought possible. Is this directly caused by Be Jojoba Oil?

Yes. Be Jojoba Oil promotes elasticity of cuticles, strengthens nails and assists in growth. It is recommended to gently push back the cuticle with a manicure stick and massage Be Jojoba Oil into the cuticle and around the nail area. Leave on for 10 minutes before washing off. You will be amazed at the results if you do this daily.
